Finnish Saunas Our premium saunas are at the top of the sauna standards. With premium Thermo-Aspen wood that is resistant to heat and splitting. Making seating more pleasant during your stay. Properly heated saunas are warmed by the radiant heat of the warmed stones not by a focused sources. That is why we use large stone heaters designed to evenly spread heat in a room. What is the difference between Finnish and Infrared Sauna? Our Infrared Saunas are privately reserved (up to 2 people). All bookings have access to our cryotherapy. Infrared Saunas All our saunas are made with premium construction quality and your enjoyments. But there are some differences between the two styles of saunas. Finnish saunas rooms are much hotter than Infrared (190º vs 170º). Infrared saunas lack a steam option as one can't splash water on the heaters. Despite the lower temperature Infrared Saunas still offer a great sweat and a great entry point to saunas and still have a relaxing time! *While we believe in the health benefits of topical cryotherapy, these statements are not backed by a long term NIH study. Listen to your Body If this is your first time in a sauna, or it has been a while, remember to start slow. Just like any physical activity we all start somewhere. No one starts off benching 300lbs or running a 4 minute mile. In the same vain, you might not be able to do traditional sauna temperature at 30 minutes with Löyly (steam) and that is okay! The more you work your heart muscles in a sauna the further you will be able to go. As always, consult your doctor before participating in intensive cardiovascular workouts. Hydration You will sweat a lot! Please hydrate before, during, and after as needed. Water is very important and we have a water station your can grab some at anytime. We also offer electrolyte options to replenish you post sauna Attire You’ll definitely be sweating, so swimsuits or gym clothes are a great choice for your session. We recommend leaving jewelry or metal items off, since they can get hot in the sauna. We do ask everyone to dress modestly: this is a family-friendly space, so no nudity is allowed. Sandals are perfect, or water shoes if you’re concerned about slipping. We’ve got lockers and changing rooms available, and each guest is provided with a towel.
